Working with the enormously talented Jessica Accamando from Creative Fish as the Creative Director, we created a Digital Yahrzeit candle service for Mount Sinai Memorial Parks. The final product has multiple layers of functionality and ease of use for our end client.
Before there was a Bootstrap standard, I hand coded these pages for Cannery and Eastside Cannery with custom media queries and every bit css/html hand done by myself.
Bruno Smartcan was my first attempt at a fully responsive website without the use of any pre-existing layouts. I worked for three days straight, 18 hours a day and completed the work in two days.
Top of the World Restaurant at the Stratosphere needed a new site which was responsive and matched their collateral at the time.
So before Bootstrap was universal, I created a 9 page website from the ground up - including all of the slider work and layouts.
I designed and maintain a website for my friends and myself for the Renaissance Faire.
In early 2015 we re-launched the Stratosphere Casino and Hotel website based on imagery and layout work that I had done.
I had to create every image and page layout for a nearly 100 page site, which we then maintained throughout my tenure with ACEP.
Designed and developed for a local Seattle band, Monkey Shorts. Had heavy input from the musician and artist. The main layout is in Photoshop, then edited and custom coded in HTML 5/CSS 3.
SLAP Watch was one of those "couple of years and it's done" products. I handled every aspect of design for this product and the final tally for money was somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 million in total sales. The site no longer exists as I created it, so I have archived it here.
You can also look at Archive.org for the site as it was from Thanksgiving night in 2010.
Zanybandz was founded in mid 2010 by Jim Howard and Lori Montag. I was their only designer - so I created all of the shapes, all of the POP, the packaging, websites, etc.
Retro Postcard inspired header images for emails for Holiday Systems.
Mailchimp is one of many platforms that I have experience with making HTML emails for. Download the GIT and use this template if you want. It is there to show HTML design skills.
My Mailchimp Expert page
When I began at HSI, the emails were not coded correctly and most text was not live. We moved to a standard HTML responsive email template, and added heavy support for Outlook 2007 and 2010 readability.
This is more of a skill rather than a portfolio piece. I have never owned a PC. It is not because I think PCs are bad or inferior, it's just that I understand the Apple/MAC world very, very well. If you have a broken/not working Mac, iPhone or iPad, I will make it work. Whereever I work I usually end up becoming the defacto IT person for any Macs that we have.
I have multiple times been the person to do company-wide upgrades and new OS/Software rollouts.
I am available for consultation and freelance help with your company or personal Apple environments – including servers and networks.
